In third world there is still a need for intense political controversy and ideology. This is according to Lipset. India has not involved in any intense political ideology wars either civil or extra territorial that seriously except for freedom movement. Freedom movement is a common equator for a cause to fight for, violently or non-violently, cutting across all sections viz. caste, creed, status and sex. Beyond that the citizens are poorly informed about their political, social, cultural rights as laid down in constitution, though the same is revered next to God, including its arch writer.The questions asked by common voter is how to topple the present government or say more focused on the sitting leader closest to his constituency, let it be village council, district council, assembly and parliament; or alternatively how to boost his favorite leader and his or her chances. The root question on morals, ethics, the mores, the conduct of bureaucrats and politicians, the modalities of municipal laws and interpretation by administrators and judiciary are of least concern to him. He has no voice about who is going to be the president in his or her indirect election.Mass movements are sporadic in India for medley of wimpiest causes brutally suppressed by the police for antisocial and violent motives.As a student political science I find it strange this collective apathy of the citizens having no social awareness not even to complaint for absence of power cut in the house, water shortage through taps, blockage of roads by squatters, corruption by cooperators etc. Indians are tooted in the philosophy of tolerance and assume all important things concerning their lives be left better to God, the provider the maintainer and the destroyer and let him deal with all evil and even the foulness in the neighborhood air and water.Whence the realization among our people arises, that is true realization towards development on irreversible path happens and as said by Lipset, will third world feel the need of ideological coherence as national identity and when they do it are big question that haunt for at least century from now.

TAJ --just wonder Been there once. Touched the walls, felt the vibrations of love labor and pride, of moon in the day, of prison cells, a marked passion, of thirst for power, pride of a dynasty and nation, of nationhood and identity.
